On behalf of our members, we advocate on issues affecting the Canadian grains sector.
We develop our policy positions through our trademark collaborative, sector-wide, consensus- based working groups, ensuring a consistent approach to resolving common issues. Policy makers confidently look to the CGC for advice knowing that our positions are representative of the entire Canadian grains value chain.
As part of our sector leadership, CGC speaks with a unified voice to policy-makers on the vision for a prosperous grains and oilseeds sector. One of the key tactics in this outreach strategy is the presentation of our Policy Priorities and Sector Vision guide. This document provides a high-level approach for legislators on how to achieve a growth-oriented export agriculture policy environment.
